Basic Safety Orientation for Construction Workers
January 19 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

A Construction Basic Awareness class for new hires introduces fundamental safety principles, jobsite expectations, and essential OSHA requirements for construction work. It covers personal protective equipment (PPE), the “Focus Four” hazards (falls, struck-by, caught-in/between, and electrocution), housekeeping, hazard communication, and reporting procedures so new employees understand how to recognize, avoid, and report hazards on site. The goal of the class is to ensure every new hire starts with a clear understanding of their safety responsibilities, company rules, and the basic practices needed to work safely and productively on a construction project.
